Description

CIRCE has developed new, more powerful, models to analyze data and describe possible scenarios of climate change in the Mediterranean region. CIRCE researchers have then used these scenarios to evaluate impacts of climate change in many different socio-economic sectors: water resources, agriculture, health, tourism and other economic activities, migrations. A number of case studies, based in diverse situations such as rural, urban and coastal zones, have been developed to assess the validity of the impact studies.
