Water Vapor: Feedback or Forcing? (Pilot)
Description

This module is on water vapor's role in the atmosphere and climate change. After reading through the scenario and using the additional resources provided, students complete investigations to further their understanding and consolidate their knowledge. All of the investigations and their difficulty level are listed below. They can be downloaded in full from the 'Water Vapor Module' link.
The NASA Global Climate Change Education/Earth Science Education Alliance (ESSEA) modules include situations, connections to standards, resources and sample investigations. Unless labeled K-4 the modules can be adapted for middle and high school students.
Investigations:
- Exploring the relation between water vapor and precipitation (intermediate)
- Water Cycle Activities for Elementary School Students (beginner).
- Diurnal Temperature Changes and Water Vapor Content (intermediate).
- Factors of the Greenhouse Effect (beginner).
- GLOBE Water Vapor Measurement (intermediate).
- Stella Climate Model (advanced).
