The Role of Clouds in Global Climate Change: The blanket vs. the umbrella
Description

This module provides students with resources on clouds and their role in climate change. After reading through the scenario and using the additional resources provided, students complete investigations to further their understanding and consolidate their knowledge. All of the investigations and their difficulty level are listed below. They can be downloaded in full from the 'The Role of Clouds in Global Climate Change Module' link.
The NASA Global Climate Change Education/Earth Science Education Alliance (ESSEA) modules include situations, connections to standards, resources and sample investigations. Unless labeled K-4 the modules can be adapted for middle and high school students.
Investigations:
- S'COOL- Students Cloud Observations on Line (beginner).
- Science Project: Clouds for Kids (beginner).
- Cloud Module Storybook and Learning Activities (beginner).
- Does Cloud Type Affect Rainfall? (beginner).
- Globe (intermediate).
- Investigating the Climate System: Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Budget (beginner).
