Dust Bowl: Is Climate Change Starting Another One?
Description

This module provides students with the opportunity to explore the liklihood of a dust bowl forming in the United States (or another region globally). After reading through the scenario and using the additional resources provided, students complete investigations to further their understanding and consolidate their knowledge. The list of investigations is below, they differ by grade level but are all beginners activities. Detailed descriptions of each investigation can be found in the 'Dust Bowl Module' link.
The NASA Global Climate Change Education/Earth Science Education Alliance (ESSEA) modules include situations, connections to standards, resources and sample investigations. Unless labeled K-4 the modules can be adapted for middle and high school students.
