Stop the Tar Sands - ForestEthics
Description

As one of the largest industrial projects on the planet, the tar sands environmental footprint is growing rapidly. Each step in the process of turning tar sands into oil has a detrimental impact on both the local and global environment.
ForestEthics believes that protecting our planet is everyone’s business. ForestEthics’ campaigns consider all of the issues that affect wild places, the wildlife and people that depend on them—from biodiversity to air and water quality to climate change. ForestEthics, ForestEthics Advocacy, and ForestEthics Solutions operate as a highly effective international coalition of independent organizations.
ForestEthics and ForestEthics Advocacy are also launching a multinational campaign to oppose tar sands, from both sides of the US - Canada border, called Tar Sands SOS.
