In this video a panel of climate change experts discuss issues around sustainable practice. Head of Climate, Eva Britt Isager of the City of Bergen, focuses on Bergen's traditional and human-centric design versus the modern day challenges. She considers the success of the city's growth, the ambitious targets, social, ecological and economical, and the importance of all-inclusive planning. CEO of Knauf Insulation, Tony Robson, will focus on the shortfalls of the current building challenges and potential solutions. Philips' Senior Director of Energy and Climate Change, Harry Verhaar, brings to light a threefold crisis that we are facing and will point out that there are solutions to ease all three. Steen Berndt, Sales and Marketing Director of Arjowiggins Graphic, will discuss the challenges of the paper industry, the new recycled solutions and implications for greenhouse gases and natural resources, as well as an example of a virtuous loop. Richard Perez, Senior Research Associate from the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center, State University of New York talks about how the solar resource, far from a niche, is the only resource that is large enough, acceptable enough and affordable enough, to meet the planet's energy requirements for the long-haul.
