Egypt and Climate Change
Description
This video highlights the physical and social impacts of climate change on Egypt. Climate Change is a major hazard affecting our planet. In Egypt, the United Nations, together with its partners, are trying to combat this phenomenon. Hence the UN Joint Programme on Climate Change Risk Management (CCRMP) was initiated. The aim of the joint programme is to help Egypt align its climate risk management and human development efforts in pursuing the achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the face of climate change and the predicted serious threats to the country.
